MISSION STATEMENT

Develop a coalition of pre-existing services to work in collaboration within community partners to support Warriors transition process starting at the in-service level.

Providing Warriors with what they don't know they need in the form of guidance and progressive positive community engagement. An ounce of prevention weighs more than a pound of solution.

BOARD MEMBERS

  • Classes of Veteran Podcast - Production of; marketing nationally; identifying Veterans, First Responders, family of Veterans, and those with no affiliation to the Veteran world and integrate them to follow the Podcast.

  • Governance of KC Warrior Coalition to include QA & QC of programs within coalition. Assist in raising funds for the Coalition.

  • Develop an extensive outreach making connecting 6-12 months prior to ETS date (when allotted). Upon exit, conduct a formal of Veterans needs and goals, then connecting them to proper programming is completed. Mentor will work with Veteran up to 12 months from separation date. With the goal of graduated disengagement to 1 phone call per month to conduct health & welfare check-in. Battle buddy team concepts throughout time with MTF.

  • Think tank offered for cultivation of new and evolving programming ideas.
